Phonebank for Eviction Moratorium!
Join the BK Housing Working Group for a lunchtime phonebank to pressure Albany to reconvene before the end of the year to pass a comprehensive eviction moratorium. We'll be calling tenants using a nifty calling tool that allows us to patch them through to the offices of State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart Cousins and State Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie.
No past experience necessary; the phonebank will open with a brief training on the calling tool and the script.
