CEROMANCY & YOU
Welcome to inner and outer space.
DEEP BREATH
Our primary colors guide our eyes through the lights of our world.
A splish of blue, a touch of green, a pang of red. COLORS.
These are the colors our eyes are literally built to see.
In 1965 came experimental confirmation of a long expected result - there are three types of color-sensitive cones in the retina of the human eye, corresponding roughly to red, green, and blue sensitive detectors.
And when in rhythm, our worlds are revealed.
Hello orange! Good to see you yellow!
Well HEY THERE PURPLE!
And just like that, we have a visible spectrum.
From just after infrared to just before ultraviolet.
Emotions are the same.
Emotions give us our inner worlds.
Happiness, Sadness, Anger, Fear, Disgust, and SURPRISE.
these are our 6 primary emotions.
Mix them together and you have a lived experience through time.
After all, we’re all just candles in the wind.
From candle to flame to ash.
Ceromancy is the art of divination through flame.
This practice dates back to at least CE 500.
Celtic druids would take vigil candle wax and pour it into a bowl of cool water.
The shapes and movements that formed were considered auguries of the future.
Most cultures throughout time have ceromancy imbedded within their spiritual practice.
Maybe you’ve caught yourself becoming immersed in a flame, lost to thought.
”Oops… Back to reality”
Ceromancy Kits
Our intention ceromancy pyramids ship with a unicursal hexagram mat, as well as a piece of parchment paper.
Consider the set and setting to begin your burn, and place the hexagram mat aligned with your intuition.
Maybe it points north?
Maybe it points south?
Wait, which way is top?
Maybe it points to the left or...
Maybe to the right?
Maybe it points towards that cosmic direction your hands spontaneously, but knowingly, decided long ago.
We suggest placing the parchment paper under the mat before a burn, as wax WILL drip beyond the hexagram mat.
Place your pyramid.
In what way did you place your pyramid on the mat?
Is it centered?
Does it need to be centered?
What angle did your gut decide?
I bet the candle looks beautiful on the mat.
Great choice of placement.
Light your candle.
Revel in the tiny dancing flame.
The wick hastens to the apex of your candle, as it first begins to kiss the peak of your pyramid.
Immolation occurs.
